Slideshow: The Apple/Samsung verdict form

The complexity of the Apple vs. Samsung case tripped up even the jury that made two boneheaded mistakes filling out there complex 33-question verdict form. Here are key extracts--warts and all--of the final form.

Let's take a look at the $22+ million mistakes. They amount to awarding damages to Apple for two Samsung phones the jury had actually found did not infringe Apple's patents.

Given that the jury had to keep track of as many as 24 accused Samsung devices, about a dozen patents in the case, different forms of infringement and three branches of Samsung being accused--a little confusion might be expected.

The first mistake (below) came in recording Samsung induced infringement of one patent with one handset that the jury actually found did not infringe the patent in question at all.
