Choosing Crystal Renn for Chanel campaign is shocking as she is once again shot by the lensman Karl Lagerfeld who has earlier made a statement that Fashion doesn't want curvy women. Everyone including Crystal Renn is shocked at being part of this campaign and says it is "proudest moment of my life." Crystal Renn has also walked the runway for Chanel Resort 2011 Collection.
For the campaign Crystal has gone furry and is donning a 1960's Bardot hairstyle. Shirtless Baptiste Giabiconi is lying on the bed in the background. For the campaign, which was shot in Paris, Lagerfeld has asked Renn and Giabiconi to envision themselves as lovers in a glamorous movie. "He said, 'You're not a model right now, you're an actress,'...the only difference between modeling and acting is that models have one second to tell a story and actresses have two hours," Crystal is quoted as saying.
The 24-year-old model is "freaking out" as this was always her dream to work with Chanel.
